KEVIN
FRANCIS CLEARY: A Love of the Stage
For some film buffs, it is enough to just watch and be
amazed by actors. Kevin Francis Cleary, however, decided
that he would rather be one of them, and maybe one day be
as good as his idol, Paul Newman. So three years ago, Mr.
Cleary, a stockbroker for Euro Brokers, which had offices
in 2 World Trade Center, became Kevin Cleary, the
part-time theater actor. "It was so amazing that here he
was 38 and starting a second career," Cate Cleary said of
her brother.
Fresh from a recent production of "Waiting Station,"
Mr. Cleary was gearing up to play Lenny in "Of Mice and
Men."
"He worked all day then rehearsed all night for his
productions," his sister said. "Twenty-four hours just
never seemed to be enough for him."
Ever the thrill seeker, Mr. Cleary took time every
year for exotic trips to places like Vietnam, Cuba,
Thailand and, most recently, Tuscany.
